When: Sunday 2nd October 2022

Where: London

The London Marathon is a truly spectacular event and the biggest annual fundraiser in the world, raising more than £1 billion for good causes since it began in 1981. Running a marathon is an incredible challenge, but there is nothing quite like the thrill of running the closed streets of London, lined with thousands of spectators screaming your name.

Charity place applications

Our charity places are limited and therefore are offered by application only. Please click below to complete an application form. Places are offered based on merit, so do take time to provide detail when completing your application.

If you are successful in securing a place, you will be notified by a member of the team and there will be a £50 registration fee. We ask you to commit to raising a minimum of £2,000 to fund breakthrough research and the very best support for people with arthritis.

I have my own place

Congratulations! Will you use your place to help us push back against arthritis? You’ll get the same support as our charity place runners, but you won’t need to commit to a sponsorship target.
